Gracie's Luncheonette - Leeds

Returned after many years. Sometimes very good but can be pricey $10 malt, 7.50 pie slice) Its an Interesting menu rare tuna slab on tuna melt, low on cheese) but quality inconsistent. Strong prices but I think it is mostly homemade food. Excellent staff. Chicken and waffles good but not with dry chicken strips. Maybe better to go only once in a while, at least for the creek view. You'd never know it from the outside, but 5 stars all around. Rowan, our server, was top notch! The best fish and chips ever. Warm comfy atmosphere. A Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went to Gracie's for the first time for Sunday Brunch. There was a wait, no problem, we expected it. What we didn't expect was the complete inability to manage things. For one, a party of 4 that arrived 10 minutes after us was seated before us (also a party of 4). It took another 7 minutes to seat us after they were seated. Once seated, the service was okay, but the incident at the start left a bitter taste in our mouths. That bitter taste didn't go away with the food. I ordered the brisket sandwich: it was essentially heated up dry luncheon meat, which I could have gotten at a deli for less. One of the people in my party had disco fries, the restaurant's version of poutine, except without enough cheese or gravy. A 3rd started feeling ill after eating the impossible burger. All in all, I won't be going back, I recommend giving it a miss.

Absolutely phenomenal! I had dinner here last night and it was fantastic. The A.L.T Sandwich is out of this world, hash browns are delicious, the french fries are perfection, and the kitchen sink cookie is to die for. Also their water was so good, I drank glass after glass. It’s important to me that a restaurant has good water, service, food, and cleanliness and Gracie’s really ticks all of the boxes! They go above and beyond. All of the servers were very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be going back regularly!
