Great place for catfish..lol as the name implies. Also $2.00 longnecks everyday..services is always great...chairs are a little tough on the backside ..lol..or else a five star..rest of place gets my five star review. Plus as added bonus free half order of fried tomatoes with Yelp checkin

Finally, there was a great Wels restaurant near Austin. The catfish fillets were slightly baked and perfectly roasted. I have the Cherry Creek Trio record. Includes 3 catfish fillets, 3 butterflies and 2 ribs. The ribs were surprisingly good as the shrimps. Love the Jalapeno tartar sauce! We'll be back.

Our second time to eat here in the last two years. Food was great and portions were big. I had the fried shrimp dinner. The shrimps were large and the dough was light and freshly tasting. We also had the onion rings and fried pimples. Both were really delicious. This is a good restaurant to share a dish with your spouse or date due to the size of the portions. Do not forget to order the Jalapeno tartar sauce, it is great!

The service is always excellent! It was my first time fried green tomatoes and they were pretty good! I loved them being free when you check into the Yelp app!
