Armando's - Leamington

This was our first visit to Leamington& to Armando's he city. We just loved the city and Armando was one of the reasons. We ordered the veal Scalopinin veal Carbonara, and both were delicious. Our trip in August when things were slightly eased...up after lock-down. the service was excellent friendly; at the same time, all necessary precautions were observed when it came to hygiene and distancing. Highly recommend Armando's .

The food and menu is exactly what one expects Canadian Italian food in a small town restaurant. There's Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan served with soup or salad. Good, solid food, well prepared but don't expect to find risotto alla milanese. A lovely...dining experience.

The worse food ever. Fish and chips over cooked and over salted. fish like rubber. Don’t order this dish.

We have ordered food many times from here and had eaten at the restaurant food is always good but yesterday was exceptional. I had ordered vegetarian pizza for staff and it was loaded with vegetables just the way we like it. Ingredients were fresh and...full of flavor. It was so good that before I could finish my lunch I had to call and compliment them.

We walked there but ample parking and wheel chair friendly. Exterior was nice but gardens need some work. Varied seating inside: tables, booths, and long tables for groups. Back walls looked like they were being refinished: exposed outlets and prepped walls (not painted or wall...papered).Suspect the entire restaurant needs to be cleaned. The booth we sat at had a window with blinds that definitely needed dusting and also the ledges around the booth needed dusting too. Decor inside needs a face lift, seems very dull and musty.I would have rated this a but the saving item was the broasted chicken my wife had. It was very crispy and tasty. I had the linguine pescatore. It had more mussels than expected, nice large shrimp, but would have preferred nice size bay scallops versus pea size scallops and the linguine was way over cooked (soft and mushy). Didn't take in the rest room, so unknown. Service was friendly and good until we asked for our bill and got it minutes later. This has the potential to be a better restaurant than it is but it needs some attention in many areas.
