Le Resto - Le Poisson Rouge - Le Palais

We had dinner last night. We were immediately hit by the disgusting dirty mask that the owner wore on his chin. Service was bad if we had to ask for a soup spoon and bread for the oysters. There were locals who didn't wear masks while all tourists wore them. We will not be back; and the city itself does not inspire Covid trust. The town of Sauzon was much better.

Visited on a beautiful day, sun rays, after a beautiful bike tour around the island. This was our lunch the only meal on the island during a day tour. We ate a Burger Moulles. The burger was good, well cooked well delicious. The Moulles, given the name of the restaurant, the predisposition to fish/Seafood on the menu, was inevitable bad. The so-called “Mustard” sauce was not separated from any of its name cake aroma. There were much too many crushed shells that contain too many with Grit beards, as there was a good preparation routine before steaming. In vain!!! The waiter was very quickly removed a half eaten food not invited comment so no was offered. It has to eat much better places on this island. I'd think twice before I make it here. The 3* rating is for a good Burger friendly staff.

“The Place” for tourists, fishermen, locals. The menu can appear mainstream because of its design. We and our friends tried almost every court. Traditional Moules Frites with Original Belgian Frites (Marines, Cream, Curry... Great Entrecotes and Yummy Burgers. Classic plat Fruit de Mer Riz au lait with cream caramel au beurre sale And Glace artisanale! Especially recommended for sunsets and during the daily market in front of the restaurant. Last but not least, the owner is a very friendly and attentive person!

Can't talk about the food, but the service was outstanding, great free wifi, and the music was wonderful. We will return whether for dinner or not.

New landlord at first glance, service quality have significantly improved. Noticed many locals. Will return.
