Taco Zone - Lawrence

Small little restaurant with some indoor dining and more outdoor sidewalk and tent seating. Within walking distance from concert venues on Mass St. The tacos are small but mighty! Selection of fillings changes regularly, with vegan/vegetarian options, and everything we tried had great flavor. Also enjoyed a refreshing agua fresca. The shop had a steady stream of customers right up until closing, but many of those orders were for take-out, so it was still easy to grab a seat.

I urge her to take a chance on this restaurant. this place is not her normal taco community despite the name and it is casual look. the food has high-quality ingredients and robust aromas. here you will not find tacos like taco bell. expect a little more along the lines of martha stewart come by to throw them a private Mexican fiesta. I have actually refused to eat here, the first few times my wife suggested, we try. as usual I was wrong. this is one of the hidden food mottos of lawrence, although it is super casual and the name makes it like a place to go after a drinking binding, it is really one of the lawrence best places for some ingenious food. do not pass this place.

Vegan vegetarian options! Has several options that can be made vegan with their vegan old school filling (made with local Central Soy Tempeh) including: Sloppy Joes, Nashos Royale, Tacos etc... They also have gegan taco packs that are apparently sometimes vegan (Roasted Garlic Mushrooms White Bean Calabacitas)

On the day of the event, the Taco Zone team was incredible. They were attentive and even ensured that the water and tea were constantly refilled, despite it not being included in their contract. Coco managed to clean up everything and pack up the leftovers, which made things so much easier for us. Now, let's get to the most important part of the review: our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the food was! We started with elote dip, fruit skewers with tajin, and a chips and guacamole bar for cocktail hour, all of which were a hit. For dinner, we served Chicken Verde Tacos, Conchitas Pibil (pork), and Veggies Verde tacos, along with an off-menu Mexican rice side that was absolutely amazing. The microgreens and kale salad were equally delicious. Overall, I give Taco Zone a 10/10 and highly recommend them. The communication was excellent, and their follow-through was even better! If you're planning an event, definitely give Coco a call.

I’m not the best at writing reviews for my favorite restaurants, but Taco Zone has inspired me to change that! They truly deserve all the praise! My partner and I both have celiac disease and eat here almost every week. Everything is consistently delicious, and we’ve never, ever had any concerns about gluten contamination. The staff is always knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly quick!
