Spicket River Brewery - Lawrence

Super friendly staff. Had a raspberry sour and it was a perfect summer beer. Meat lovers flatbread pizza was also really good. Nice patio so no plenty of room in good weather. Seemed to be very limited space for rainy days.

Great beer, love the venue. Just got in from Texas and wanted to try the brewery. Got a flight of five. IDK IPA, CALAMASTA, BODEGA and a Cruel summer. Really interesting area. Probably a lot of history. The brewery is in the basement so look for the address and then park across from the brewery.

So I like the beer and I like the pizza, but... Just finished up a night waiting an hour for 4 slices of pizza. First waited 30 mins with nothing. Then prodded and got one of the 4. Then the waiter returned with the remaining 3, but one was incorrect. At this point we just wanted to go home. Had to literally stand next to the pizza oven and beg for the final slice so we could finally leave and be put out of our misery. One waiter to serve the entire restaurant... hire more people! Or don't open when you don't have staff! It's not rocket science!

This restaurant deserves more attention because it's one of my favorite places in Lawtown. The food is excellent, and the beer selection is fantastic. The atmosphere is really fun, clean, and laid-back.

Excellent beer and a lively atmosphere. Dylan provided attentive and charming service. I highly recommend the La Vida. I will definitely return!
