Bidra med feedbackWwnt with the family and liked the view of the lake from the dining area outdoors. I ordered the Cajun shrimps, crustaceans and sausages over fetters. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the fish was also tenderly cooked, but there was a little too much of the cream sauce for me. The sauce was delicious, but the dish was too pissed. Excellent culinary experience.
Yes, the food is amazing hands down! Chef and his kitchen staff are the right deal! Now from Somone, who has been in the entertainment business for more than 20 years and 31 years, I have to show a lot. The first is the staff, with the shortage of employees throughout the country, this team works Thursday-Sunday and most of them work twice and consistently on one wait every day and they have always exceeded my expectations from the time I leave in the time I leave! Second, atmosphere when I first went to St. Patty's Day 2022, the place was bigger than I expected and was hidden with Tiki and Island decor with a beautiful touch of St. Patrick's decorations! Never seen this place dirty and I've often visited since it's just a few minutes from where I live. Thirdly, as I said, I have been in the hospitality industry for company and small business owners for some time and the one thing that affects me is the owners! John and Susie give the heart of this operation! Although they are short staff, I can honestly say that they work hard and enjoy doing things to help their employees to be successful, such as bush tables, bends, running food, changing garbage, hovering tables, greetings and sitting people, etc. As I sit in my favorite corner of the restaurant, I see how they interact with guests and always smile on their face! Now to what I think could be improved, the bathroom situation are. They are located outside of Tillys and from what I have noticed that the bathrooms are shared with the harbour light marina and many boaters from the lake use it frequently! Beautiful bathrooms only have to be maintained more often.
Good place to drink Casual Bar and Trivia shows. You have a decent menu. Just hit Miss on quality. Young employees nice, but lack of experience sometimes has to ask twice for spices and cutlery. Inside is dated and Drab. I think with experienced employees the owners seemed very creative enough to make it a gem. I think it is a bit expensive for consistency in quality. I'm going back.
Right by the lake. Great location and views. The outdoor terrace is ideal for eating and relaxing. Large indoor dining area with full bar and a team trivia event every Sunday at 6 pm. Great food and service.
Our favorite place in the area... Right on the lake. Boaters can dock and refuel. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the lake, which is nice. Only open Thursday through Sunday and no liquor is served on Sundays. Also on Sundays you can't get any alcohol served until after 12:30 (good to know for those going for brunch and bottomless mimosas) We like to sit at the bar and Nicole and Savanna are great bartenders. They have one of the better wine selections in the area. We were overall impressed with the food. The zucchini fries served with horseradish ranch are awesome. We also got the mushroom swiss burger and that was very tasty. The fries are very unique and really good. The brisket is good, (there is a huge smoker outside). The smoked wings have great flavor, but the skin is very chewy and soft ..so I just picked off the skin and ate the meat. They also only came with 2 pieces of celery. We also enjoyed the fried grit cakes, though the menu doesn't mention that it comes with shrimp. Food came out very fast. There are healthy salad options. Everything is a little pricey for the area....if you add a protein to your salad then it comes to almost $20. On Sundays they open at 10am and serve a buffet breakfast/brunch. Bottomless mimosas are $25, but sadly they only have spumante champagne (super cheap and sweet). They need to get a brut, prosecco, or cava option. Loved meeting and talking with the owner John.
