Bidra med feedbackI took my big family to my birthday and we came where I had remembered a beautiful Korean restaurant by the regal theatre there - only to find it was replaced! well, we went in anyway and had such a wonderful meal! so much variety and mix or Korean and Japanese cuisine! the service was perfect. that'll be back!
The food was great. Great service and not super busy. There were 8 of us and we tried a bit of everything. The menu has a wide variety to choose from.
I'm giving 5 stars because I want small businesses to thrive. No major complaints, just needs improvement in some areas. Yellowtail in the negi Hama roll was fresh- they could use less rice in my opinion. Salmon nigiri was fresh and thick cut- they used belly part. Good size masago nigiri. Hamachi Kama was meaty and delicious! Ponzu was very good too. Dressing for the house salad was also delicious. Everything was priced decently. 3 things I think they could work on. Their sushi rice could be better. Salmon skin in the salmon skin roll was a little too hard for my taste. I think it was just old salmon skin. Customer service could be a little more welcoming. Other than that would definitely come back!!
Ordered takeout on a Friday night close to closing. Was very excited to try this new spot due to all of the positive reviews thus far. The ultra tuna roll had very low quality fish, so much so that I was only able to eat one bite. Nevertheless, I was disappointed overall.
My grandma and I stopped in here looking for a place near our home to try out and have a quick lunch. It's a small space and wasn't very busy when we went, which was nice because I don't like super crowded places. I saw another review that mentioned that the woman does everything by herself and honestly I was pretty impressed by that. We ordered gyoza, jalapeño poppers, the bulgogi meal, and the 2 sushi combo and really enjoyed all of it! The dressing for the salad was really good as well. I don't think the price is bad for the amount of food you get as well. I forgot to get pictures of the gyoza and the bulgogi, but remembered for the rolls and poppers! We'll definitely come by again!
