Bidra med feedbackWe've been visiting this restaurant for years, and it used to be our favorite place whenever we were in town. Unfortunately, they no longer offer our favorite dishes, so we just stick to the oysters and the blackened shrimp, which are still quite tasty. We've heard that they will be closing at the end of the month and will be replaced by a Bobby Flay restaurant. Doesn't he already have enough restaurants in Las Vegas?
The service was prompt and friendly. We tried the Fried Oysters, Crab Cakes, and Jambalaya, and everything was outstanding. They accept Caesars Rewards at the table, which is a nice bonus. Although we had to wait a little longer for them to open because of staffing issues, once we were seated, the atmosphere was lively with happy diners all around. We heard many compliments from other tables when their dishes arrived. It's definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers. Please note that my photos show only a portion of our order since we had already begun eating!
I returned to this restaurant after a few years, and my opinion remains the same. For a venue in Las Vegas, I expected better hospitality and customer service given the price of the dishes. The fresh oysters are excellent, and the food is still delicious. However, customer service could definitely be improved. We went for lunch and were seated immediately, but it took several minutes for our waiter to acknowledge us, even though it wasn't busy at the time. As a Total Rewards Diamond member, I expected a higher level of service.
Food was good, be prepared to wait for a while. Would stood in line for over an hour. Only recommendation is someone from the place needs to watch the people in line. Individuals was trying to pressure people into letting them cut in line.
Arrived promptly at 4:30pm when they opened. There was a line but the hostess sat everyone quickly at the Oyster bar or the tables as desired by the customer. This was my 2nd visit to the Harrah 's Oyster Bar which was a lot less enjoyable than my pre-pandemic visit a few years ago. There was no longer the 'fine-dining ' appeal I had enjoyed on my previous visit. The server was courteous but rushed reminding me of the rushed service you get at a typical diner. I ordered the Seafood Boil. There was no crab available so extra shrimp was provided in its place (pictured). The corn on the cob tasted sour like it had been stored too long. The restaurant graciously removed the dish from the bill. My friend had crab cakes and clam chowder which she seemed to enjoy. I also had the 1/2 dozen oyster plate which were fresh and tasty. All in all it was an okay experience.
