Bidra med feedbackFood was good, be prepared to wait for a while. Would stood in line for over an hour. Only recommendation is someone from the place needs to watch the people in line. Individuals was trying to pressure people into letting them cut in line.
Arrived promptly at 4:30pm when they opened. There was a line but the hostess sat everyone quickly at the Oyster bar or the tables as desired by the customer. This was my 2nd visit to the Harrah 's Oyster Bar which was a lot less enjoyable than my pre-pandemic visit a few years ago. There was no longer the 'fine-dining ' appeal I had enjoyed on my previous visit. The server was courteous but rushed reminding me of the rushed service you get at a typical diner. I ordered the Seafood Boil. There was no crab available so extra shrimp was provided in its place (pictured). The corn on the cob tasted sour like it had been stored too long. The restaurant graciously removed the dish from the bill. My friend had crab cakes and clam chowder which she seemed to enjoy. I also had the 1/2 dozen oyster plate which were fresh and tasty. All in all it was an okay experience.
For seafood on the Strip this Oyster Bar may be affordable but the quality of the offerings are poor. Clam Chowder very thick witth few clams. Crab cake is just fair. Shrimp Cocktail pale and tasteless Seafood Linguine is poor and was overcooked served in thin soupy salty broth. No resevations. Wait Que forms about 20-30 minutes before opening
Absolutely fantastic experience! Had the Red Tide to drink. Followed by 2 glasses of Meomi Pinot Noir to go with my 10 Oz. Filled. Which was cooked to perfection! Dennis my server was a complete delight. He was friendly, funny and attentive! The oysters Rockerfeller were out of this world good! This place is on my must return to list!
I was excited to go, but the service when I went to pick up my 6 Jumbo oysters was just POOR. The oysters are flavorless, undercooked, and just greasy. I am Disappointed
