Bidra med feedbackMostly food are old. Cold. Hard to chew. Staff are nice and loud like Pinas vibe. But i notice they never change the gloves per order and tita was preparing mine and her gloved hand dipped in to my soup. I was waiting for her to change it but i didnt say anything. She was still using same gloves with next order. Ayayay
Grill City is a Filipino BBQ Cafeteria Restaurant located in Seafood City. We went to the Centennial North Las Vegas Location. They offer a big selection of Filipino dishes including balut. Some of the dishes have signs without explanations and some don't have signs so it can be challenging to order for some people. We wanted to try a lot of little things but found that was impossible to do. They have skewers of pork and chicken but you must buy 5 skewers....They had four different fish offerings. I picked one fish that looked the nicest to me and it turned out to be bangus (vinegar marinated milkfish) We also tried corn on the cob, rice, and grilled longanisa (sausage). The skewers were both very tender but were served at room temperature and were in a sweet sauce. My husband liked the sausages. This is only the second time that I have tried bangus. I do have have to say the flavors were far more complex and this better tasting this time. The vinegar side was also much better. It was nice that the fish was stuffed with vegetables. The last bangus (from a different restaurant was very hard and chewy) This one was served sort of dry.......but wasn't hard and chewy like the another from some other place. If anyone reads this that knows how bangus should be I would like to know. I've had Caribbean vinegar marinated fish before and I thought it would be that kind of texture but it wasn't.The corn was served kinda dried out but the rice was very good here. Maybe the best rice anywhere.
Food in Lorraine resttsurant is far better cheaper and portion is bigger.
The food isn't all that great here! I got the BBQ chicken skewer with rice and kare kare, karioka and 1 veggie lumpia. My husband got the same except his side was the sweet n sour fish. The chicken skewer was so dry, the lumpia I was given was burnt, the karioka was hard as heck. The kare kare was the only one satisfying to the palate.Service is super slow!!! And when your given your food you don't get utensils, you have to sit down, look for your fork/napkins, then go stand and wait in line to ask for it.They definitely need to do a food quality check and follow the holding times because obviously the food they are selling is way past it! Dining area is a community sitting place where everyone parks their shopping cart somewhere in hopes no one will steal their groceries. This place is definitely NOT a must try!
Most of the order was missing the store did not have a record of the order even though it was on the receipt, when I called to see if the driver left it at the store they hung up would not answer... or did driver keep it ??
