Bidra med feedbackWhile I agree that this 85C location is not as good as the ones in California, I'll take it over nothing. With the amount of people moving to Vegas and the never ending construction going on, hopefully they will open another location in the future (like not in Chinatown hint, hint! .Overall, they have a good variety of breads, pastries, and cakes at affordable prices. I haven't tried many things here because I'm more of a find what I like and stick to it type of person, but my favorites so far are the Cheese Dog, White Chocolate Strawberry, and Hokkaido Custard Bun. Thankfully everything is individually wrapped now and I guess we can thank COVID for that. Some of the negatives here: They don't always refill the trays that you can pick up when first walking in. You see people grabbing stuff, then changing their minds and throwing it back wherever. None of the employees ever ask for your phone number to apply purchases to your rewards account. FYI, you can always add it through the app, but you will need to get a receipt. We ordered Milk Teas from here a couple of times, and it takes forever! There is one employee making all the drinks and a long line of people waiting. They also don't put enough ice in the drinks. Parking in the plaza is a hot mess! You are better off coming here early in the morning or sometime between lunch and dinner.
Stopped to try the Coffee Cruffin but unfortunately there were several items not put out. Asked the cashier and she was not very helpful, all she said was they were not put out yet. Considering I was there first thing in the morning when they opened to make sure that item was available and to beat how busy that shopping center gets, it was very disappointing. Grabbed a vanilla latte which was ok.. nothing special.
85° Bakery Cafe in Shanghai Plaza is a hidden gem for anyone with a sweet tooth. The pastries are always incredibly fresh, and it's the perfect spot to pick up cakes for special occasions. And let's not forget about their boba tea it's a must try on the way out. 85° Bakery Cafe is truly a one stop shop for all your guilty pleasures. If you're looking for delicious treats and a delightful tea experience, this is the place to be!
The pastries unfortunately I couldn't eat due to Gf but my friend had fun selecting pretty much all of them before heading back to CA. He enjoyed them all, and his drink as well. I loved the flavor of my boba coffee, just wish the boba was more fresh. They were little harder than most I have had. I had to remove the boba to finish the drink at home, why I gave 4 stars.
Great bakery goods. The iced drinks aren’t that great. I got the Vietnamesse coffee and it was literally all ice and no coffee barely anything came out of the straw. Had it remade and was the same issue. The staff male worker was rude about it. Their hot beverages are better as they aren’t diluted with the amount of ice they use which takes away the flavor.
