Mac'n Cheese Shop - Larkspur

I hate writing bad reviews but this one is very necessary. My fiancé had a craving for Mac and Cheese and figured we 've give this place a shot since it was close by and because it 's called the Mac 'n Cheese Shop- it must be good. Wrong. Probably the worst mac and cheese my fiancé and I have ever had in our lives. This was butter noodles with barely any butter, absolutely NO CHEESE. We spent $15+ on one order of their 5 cheese Mac and cheese with extra cheese and also added Brie and bacon! I am not joking it was noodles with 3 small slices of Brie on top and some bacon. It was laughable but we were pretty upset at the same time as I had gotten food from somewhere else and we were just waiting on this. When it finally showed up it was extremely disappointing. Dry noodles with just 3 slices of Brie cheese and some bacon. The Brie wasn 't even melted, and we paid extra for it! Gosh, It was so quick to go in the trash I didn 't even get a chance to take a photo. Please fix the food if you 're going to be called the Mac 'n Cheese Shop , we will not be ordering here again. Definitely would 've been better off getting mac n cheese from chic fil a or anywhere else!

I love their mac'n cheese. It would be great if they expanded their menu a little with appetizers and maybe salads.

Boring, tasteless, overpriced, and not as good as Kraft.

First time trying @Macandcheeseshop. We had the surf and turf and Buffalo chicken with blue cheese. Definitely not enough blue cheese and the bacon on the surf and turf was way undercooked. Blackened prawns were delicious, but only 3 came on the Mac and cheese so I ordered an extra side of prawns.

It's just mac and cheese, and it's damn good! Make sure you get bacon on whichever mac you get, you will need the salt to really wake up the flavors in their blend of cheeses. The pasta is just the right texture and the 5 cheeses have a great subtle flavor that is really great if you add some salt or hot sauce. This is the place to go if you're craving mac and cheese in San Jose
