Big Jim's Tavern Tap - Largo

If you’re a tourist and looking for some good food this place is the spot. Food is really good and matches the pricing which is affordable if you have a lot of people with you! Inside and outside patio. Which has a big fireplace you can eat in front of! Only complaint is food took longer then I wanted to wait but everything else was awesome!

Seminole Sunrise Burger and a special App Sampler. The Sampler consisted of Jalapeños wrapped in Bacon, Onion Rings and Mushrooms. The Jalapeños were cut in half, filled with Cream Cheese and wrapped in Bacon. The Bacon was not crispy enough and chewy. The Onion Rings were a little too thick (preference issue only). The Mushrooms were tasty. The only issue with the App Sampler was too expensive for what it was $17.99 and way too greasy. The Burger would have been way better had it been cooked a little more. I will go back to try a Burger again but will skip the App Sampler.

Was a bit disappointed at my food because I have heard great things about the restaurant. I ordered a steak quesadilla and Boom boom shrimp because I was on a time crunch to get back to work. Appetizers are probably the worst food to judge a restaurant but I would think a steak restaurant would have an amazing steak quesadilla. I will be back to try entrees and give big Jim’s another opportunity but for now was not very impressed. Boom boom portion was not great only got 4 shrimp for 12.99. The quesadilla was the biggest disappointment, I thought a steak place would have an amazing steak quesadilla with good big chunks of steak cooked nicely. But instead I got some kind of meat that kind of looks like cat food. I’m not usually the type to leave a review but was so disappointed because the restaurant is hyped up and has amazing photos etc. The staff was very nice, restaurant was clean and has great atmosphere, but for now was disappointed. I will be back to give it another shot and actually try the bigger entrees for dinner at some point.

Met my cousin his wife here for lunch on 11/10/2021 while on vacation in St Pete Beach. Pub with a relaxing feel. Friendly staff. Many choices of beers menu items. I choose The Beef and Weck sandwich plate with macaroni cheese. Large portions so delicious.

We had an amazing experience! Despite its location in a small strip mall, and small parking spaces, the interior had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The noise level was a bit high, but that was to be expected in such a lively and popular venue. The service was fast, attentive, and professional. The staff made us feel welcome and took care of our every need. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of options to satisfy all tastes. The food was simply delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor. While the presentation and drinks were average, the portion sizes were large, making it an excellent value for the average price of $15-20. I highly recommend Jim's Famous Steaks Tavern Tap to anyone looking for a delicious meal, great service, and an enjoyable atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit!
