Le Trappist - Laon

A great find! Was with out 2 and 4 year old and was great to see them tucking in to chicken and mash. Husband took a burger (great) and I had the duck salad- amazing and prompted me to write this review.Finished off with a coffee and the best chocolate eclair I've ever had!!!

Large meals, good quality, nothing to complaint, but nothing special either. Simple but fine. Correct service. Somewhat basic ambiance. Good for quick hot meal lunch. Many choices of beers.

Excellent restaurant. Food was interesting and delicious. Our waiter was most helpful and explained some of the dishes which we were not familiar with The beers of course were great as it specializes in Belgian beers

Visited Laon for a weekend stay with my wife. Saw this old town restaurant on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. Great food, service and an excellent selection of belgian beers. Ordered a couple of burgers, best i've had. Given a complimentary drink on paying the bill (which was fantastic value). Highly recommended, worth the walk up the 300+ stairs to the old town lol

Nice place to drink Belgian beers. Burgers are good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend
