Bidra med feedbackSeemed like a cool little spot at first. The deck and bar seating had a good vibe to it, good music, the beer selection was decent and cold, and the bartender was cool. Seems like it might get some good live music too. It nosedives after that, though. There are SO MANY brown wasps, yellowjackets, and hornets EVERYWHERE that you have to be on CONSTANT high alert. Honestly, it 's not even funny how many there are, I 've never seen so many. One landed on my arm and almost got me. No bueno. ?? As for the food? This isn 't even remotely close to authentic Mexican if that 's what you 're looking for, and it 's overpiced FAR beyond its worth. The hot pepper cheese balls were the highlight for sure, very good, and unlike most places, actually hot. They crush and fall apart completely at the slightest pressure, though so be warned when dipping them. The chicken quesadilla was pretty good, too. The Iron Ring burrito I had, though, and the cheesy rice my cousin had were honestly tragic. The rice is pretty much plain white rice, not even an attempt at being Mexican rice, and the cheesy rice just had some shredded cheddar melted on top. No bueno. The pulled pork in the burrito was just BBQ sauced pulled pork, and wasn 't bad on it 's own, but it does not go well at all in a burrito with refried beans and the plain white rice. The last thing I 'll say about the food is that the hot sauce that I got with the burrito was odd and almost indescribable. I thought it was mango habanero at first from the bright yellow color, but I can honestly say I have no clue what it was, and that it wasn 't good. All in all? I won 't be back. If you want a quick beer and you 're at the rafting place next door, stop in and try not to get swarmed and stung by wasps, but eat elsewhere. Fayetteville is right down the way and has infinitely better options.
Love this spot. Beautiful views, great food, really nice people
This is a must for anyone visiting the NRG. A great way to end a day of hiking, rafting, swimming, or whatever brought you to this beautiful area. The atmosphere is fun and laidback. The service is always on point. Food is fresh. Large portions. Great live music. All of this wrapped up with one of the BEST sunset views the Gorge has to offer!
The food here was amazing. I had the sweet potatoes burrito special at the recommendation of our server and it was delicious. And they were great about making sure one of our meals was dairy-free. Portions are large/great. Great beer/tap menu. Prices are reasonable. If you’re looking for the perfect non-touristy place to go after rafting, this is it! Dietary restrictions: They were great about ensuring no they could make one of our meals dairy free.
Awesome patio and ambience. Food was pretty good. Try the cilantro lime sauce!
