Red Barn Campground Restaurant

Campground was perfect for what we needed. Such lovely people and hospitality. Bathrooms and showers included. The restaurant is also a lot of fun. Lots of options without having to drive into town. Thanks for having us! Dog-friendliness: Dog and cat friendly!

Not camping. Eating at the restaurant, with my party. The Fish fry was tasty. Light on the breading, flakey. Comes with crinkle fries, choice of coleslaw or cottage cheese. One person who ordered the Calzone, it was Huge!!! Covered the whole plate. Reasonably priced. Would stop again. Campground/RV looks big from the restaurant parking lot. They have campers that you can rent.

Stopped for lunch, and the food was great. The omelettes and hash browns filled the plate, the cheeseburger and fries were hot and tasty. Just classic American food. Don’t be in a hurry as it took a little while to get the food, but just order an appetizer like the locally sourced cheese curds and enjoy your company!

We had a late lunch at their restaurant today. I had the fried chicken and mash potatoes with gravy special and my wife had the grilled chicken chefs salad. They were both some of the best I've ever tasted. The cook does some kind of magic with mashed potatoes and gravy. I think a little cream. All made like we love it at home. When I come through Lansing again, I will try some fish. What ever their deep fry batter is it's wonderful for chicken. Salad was super fresh and delicious too. Restrooms: The cleanest I've seen in a while. Funny reading signs in them as well.

The pizza is amazing!!! Great Hawkeye atmosphere during a Hawks game last year!!! Cannot wait to go back!
