Gregory's Soul Food - Lansing

Reviews on this site are everywhere. my crucifixes and I went to our 20-year anniversary dinner there. it is a challenge to find a full-fried chicken dinner in lansing. the man who took our orders was a sweeter! our food came hot, fresh and tasty! all were friendly, cordial and courteous. hidden they see the chicken wing and the fish dinner with green beans, black eyebrows and cornbread muffin. I hope this will be regular on Friday! delicious food!

I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this place before! The wings are the best I’ve had in Lansing and the sides (I got greens and mac cheese) were excellent. This is definitely going to be my new go-to.

The decor is pretty simple, but the food is mighty tasty. As suggested, I ordered an ala carte waffle. It was really fluffy and toasted to perfection. I also got the wings with mac and cheese plus fries. It also came with cornbread. Mac and cheese was A+. I thought the cornbread could have been a little sweeter. Great flavor profile on the wings though! Everything came out hot and fresh. Franks hot sauce for the win too. I would come again.

Tried Gregory's for the first time and it did NOT disappoint. I'll definitely be going back to get some more soul food. The food is amazing and the prices are great.

This gem popped up in my Google search of great places to eat, and I’m so glad it did! Excellence all around! Delicious and Ample portions—I had the catfish nuggets (15! with fries and the best toast I’ve ever had! Hubs had “George’s Famous Wings”, and they did not disappoint! Our server was super friendly and provided great service. The place is spacious and has a cool, laidback atmosphere with a stage for live music. There is a full bar and lots of historical memorabilia on the walls. Very clean! Plenary of parking with easy access. Will definitely visit again if we’re ever in the area.
