A fine Indian dinning place appeared bit too congested crowded possibly Saturday night. Singer who was performing ,very good, cared about little in this hustle bustle .Staff couteousAgain visted yesterday, food is really good , must try golgappa shots, good music , gurmukh is a good singer but volume levels of crowd is too high otherwise 5 5, congratulations to the owner for maintaining Indian culture away from India with nice staff , cleanliness .Nice lights wow factorParking: Abundantly available even on weekendsWheelchair accessibility: Just accessible on wheelchairs at arms pace from ?️
I had known of this place from a friend of mine that just raved about how good it was. That was 12 years ago, and I finally got to visit and see for myself for the first time. This is honestly the best budget friendly Indian buffet in the lower mainland. I absolutely love their selections as they are simple but very well executed.I'll let the food speak for itself. They offer free baskets of naan as you get your curries from the buffet trays.Kid-friendliness: There are some foods that are not too spicy, and some salads that most kids would be able to eat.Parking: The parking was iffy, because a lot of people are aware of the food and come to park in that plaza, it's best to try to park before 11am to make sure you get your parking so you could make it to the buffet.
We were a large group of 10, and we got seated pretty quickly by the gentleman and were handed over the menu almost immediately. The menu is representative of popular modern Indian cuisine across the subcontinent. Thankfully their lamb, goat and beef offerings were halal, which some in the group appreciated. We got the papdi chaat and chicken lollipops as appetizers. Both were served at the appropriate temperature and were flavourful as well as appetizing in appearance. The butter chicken, goat curry, daal makhani and kadhai paneer were served alongside garlic naan and steamed basmati rice. All the dishes were flavorful and delicious. Overall a happy outing :
I recently visited An Indian Affair for a dine in dinner experience. The tandoori mixed grill affair non veg starter was a highlight it was nice and delicious, packed with flavors. However, the Vegetable Delhi style MOMO was a disappointment. It was dry and lacked any taste, which made it feel like a waste of money. I would suggest they work on improving the quality of this dish. For the main course, I ordered the veg kofta and family naan, both of which were of good quality and had a nice taste. However, I felt that the portion of the curry could have been more generous. On the positive side, the complimentary plain white rice that came with the main course was a valuable addition from the customer 's perspective.I visited on a Sunday when there was live music being performed by artists. While the concept was good, the volume was too loud and made it a bit noisy. I believe it 's a family restaurant and not a club or pub, so the music should be more pleasant and not overpowering.Overall, An Indian Affair offers good food, and once I adjusted to the loud music, I did enjoy the experience. However, I would recommend improvements in terms of the vegetable MOMO dish taste, portion sizes, and the volume of the live music to create a more enjoyable dining atmosphere.
