Pizzeria Milano - Landau in der Pfalz

Average quality for this Italian restaurant in Landau. Everything but Italian... Large pizza is really huge but cheese on top is poor quality and heavy. Quality is better than quantity, recommend to reduce size but use better ingredients

Milano is right around the corner from the Parkhotel and easy access to the highway. You pass it on the way in town. Eight of us went and all but one ordered pizza (lasagna). The only mistake for men was ordering the large pizzas. They were so big that they di4dn't fit on the large plate. We all ordered different pizzas and each was delicious. Also, the selection of beer was quite good and the server was always available if we needed her. Only down side was not being able to split the bill for each person.....oh, and they don't accept credit cards. We had such a good experience that we will be back on our next trip. Tip: the medium pizza is large enough for anyone....and no doggy bags!

We were looking for a restaurant within walking distance of the Parkhotel. We made a list of three and walked around to each of them to see how they looked from the outside and read their menus. The Pizza Milano restaurant was our choice and it was sooo much better than we had expected. No one spoke English but what da hey? Cold beer filled right up to the top and brilliant pizza. If there was a negative it would have to be that the pizzas were just too big. Order a small one for just enough for one person and a small doggy bag. The staff were great and we communicated just fine. they knew we were there for the beer and pizza..............they really delivered!
