Bidra med feedbackI discovered a fantastic sandwich and two delicious donuts at this restaurant. It tends to get a bit crowded on Saturdays, but there's always the option to sit outside. There are plenty of benches and tables available. They offer a variety of cheeses, meats, and fresh vegetables. The atmosphere is lively, and everyone is very friendly. It’s a great spot to grab a quick bite to eat.
There was nowhere to sit and enjoy our meal, but it was absolutely worth it! We had to stand while savoring the incredible food from Soulcialize Catering. I’m sorry I devoured it too quickly to take any photos! The roasted pipes, gumbo over rice, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese were all to die for! We also picked up some delicious salsa and guacamole from the guacamole specialists. Then we stopped by Christina's Criollo and ordered a takeout plate of the BEST Latin-inspired baked chicken with yucca, rice and beans, and plantains. I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes!
Visiting this market is truly a delightful experience, allowing you to explore a wide variety of shops and their offerings. There’s so much to see, from numerous product stalls to bakeries, prepared meals, flowers, and fresh meats, among other things. Be mindful that weekends can get quite busy, and finding paid parking can be a bit tricky. The shops are well-organized, and the entire area is kept clean. I did notice that some items were priced a bit higher compared to my local supermarket; for example, I saw bananas marked with a price of 79 cents per pound, while the same ones could be found at the supermarket for 49 cents or even less. So, it's wise to be a savvy shopper if you're watching your budget. That said, I highly encourage supporting local vendors. Overall, I had a great time wandering around and sampling food at this central market.
I'm glad we made it! We went about there when they wanted to approach. So I got two delicious muffin in a price. It was a wonderful experience to see the combination of so many cultures in one place and I would like to buy more interesting things from the market in my next visit.
It was our first time visiting and we loved this market! I really enjoyed the fresh cut flower stands. Serval places to eat and take food home. There is a small deck are upstairs to stand and eat or take a break from the crowed. Lots of little shops right outside of the market too.
