Bidra med feedbackWow! New look, revamped, restaurant has been refurbished, loos fabulous food was delicious, great service as always from the staff, I really enjoyed some new dishes and flavors. The cheese naan was a hit, mooerish... Definitely will go back with friends. So good to have a restaurant with good ol' fashion etiquette from staff and management, great service. Mala
Food totally average. Pappadam served in a very poor way. Main courses : one looked like has been injected with a 50p tomato sauce. The worse bit the wine. A bottle of muscadet for 24.50 which was bought in Sainsbury’s even with the “finest Sainsbury’s etiquette on”. Very, very disappointing considering we came to this restaurant so many times in the past and it became a less than average place. If you really want a good Indian just make the effort, 1 mile south and you’re in Tooting Bec here you can find the finest Indian restaurants in London.
Great place. Simple, no nonsense. Despite some bad reviews, I can confirm that they are all talk.
Over the years, my family and I have enjoyed many delicious meals at this Indian restaurant in Clapham. The Bengali fish curries and vegetable dishes come highly recommended. The Maharani, established in 1958, is one of the oldest curry houses in London. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit!
This was probably the worst dinner I have ever had! The restaurant should be ashamed to call themselves Indian. The food was tasteless and awful. The mixed grill was extremely dry. Every dish lacked flavor. I can't believe they are still in business. Avoid at all costs!
