Gaslight Grill - LAKEPORT

I went for lunch today with my friend who was visiting for the first time and I was excited to show her the restaurant. As soon as we entered, we picked up some menus and informed the staff that we would be sitting outside. It took about 10 minutes before we were served drinks, and during that time, we requested an appetizer sampler platter. Surprisingly, the platter arrived but neither the drinks nor the platter were brought out by our waitress. Despite seeing the waitress at another table, she never once came to ours. The platter came with sauces, but we noticed there was no ketchup or anything else. We still had our menus and were planning to order more food when out of nowhere, the waitress dropped off our check. Feeling disappointed with the service, we paid, left, and made sure to inform the staff about our experience.

I tried the ham and turkey club sandwich at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning. Additionally, I had deep fried pickles for the first time and they were also delicious.

We enjoyed sitting outside during the warmer months and watching the lively downtown atmosphere, especially during a Bass tournament weekend when we saw trucks cruising by with boats in tow. The burgers and fish and chips were delicious. The indoor seating area is a bit smaller and noisier, so we've only been doing takeout recently, but we are looking forward to spring and being able to sit outside again.

This place truly stepped up during the snowstorm! Serving food from open til they were sold out, I was thoroughly impressed with not only the fact that they stayed open, but the quality of service we received tonight. The owner was on the fryer, the waitresses were still friendly, the place was absolutely PACKED and everyone still kept up with you the pace. I was so thankful they stayed open with the power out, this is a great place to enjoy a good meal and a beer.

Brick building with good seating and great atmosphere for everyone. Came in during the gaslight grill takeover (didn't know was happening) and the servers and all staff were wonderful and ready to help. I grabbed a Megathrust IPA and it was a great recommendation by the staff. Also ordered a western burger with sweet potato fries and it was so good and cooked to perfection all the garnishes were fresh in a clean and safe environment. I would highly recommend...
