Dona Julia's Mexican - Lakeland

So disappointed! Ordered a soup, chips and salsa and drink. They forgot the drink (no big deal) but the chips were stale and the soup had no flavor. This used to be my favorite place for chicken and rice soup but it's been a while since I've gone. I will not be back.

The best thing about this restaurant is if you ask them to put a little burn on the corn tortillas, they do it very well. Of course you shouldn't have to ask. I had the Carne guisada which is nit a common thing to find so that was great but I would rate it as just okay. I would say that you would enjoy going to Dona Julia's but it isn't amazing.

This place is amazing! The service is outstanding. Everybody is so attentive. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. A lot of food and it is not expensive at all. We order Club sandwich and chopped steak, super delicious!

My family and I adore Dona Julia’s; we've been regulars for years. The restaurant offers fantastic and affordable Mexican dishes. What makes it even more enjoyable is the exceptional treatment and appreciation we receive from the staff. This level of customer service is hard to come by elsewhere. We absolutely love this establishment.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. The owners and staff are just super nice. The food is awesome, they have a full menu all day long.
