The food was delicious and the shrimps were sharp. I wanted to try the cinnamon roll, but as gluten intolerant it was a no for me? They were very busy and we had waited a bit, but the staff was friendly and we could get a drink to keep us until a table is open. I loved the interior and the whole interior. (They had gluten-free bread!
Rusty rooster café is located in the Lake of the Ozarks. The portions are large while get plenty of food. I had a large pancake which could?ve been enough to feed four people. The restaurant is cute and beautiful place to visit with in the lake of the Ozarks for breakfast and you don?t want to cook just come here to eat. Farm house chic. I will return. Gloria
We stopped here while we stayed at the lake on weekends and let me say the whole experience here was WOW! I ordered shrimps and grits first. Let me tell you it was amazing!! We were so impressed that we couldn't wait to eat here the next day! The coffee was amazing and so the service was every time. It made us wish we had this restaurant in St. Louis. We'll be back someday!
The best French toast I ever had! The pictures do not do justice to this place. You? ve must see it and experience it personally. It was quite busy (9:15 on Sunday during the bicycle festival). We were immediately greeted by Angela. She was friendly and informed us about the waiting and seating options. Waiting was about 1/2 hour for groups of four or more, but my husband and I could sneak some FCFS seats at the bar. We chose bar seats that were immediately available. Madison was our bartender and although Madison was very busy, Madison stayed with the amount of error-free. I had the French toast and ordered a side of bacon and a side of domestic fries. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, fries and a pancake. I also had a hot tea and a mimose. French toast used to be my favorite breakfast until I ordered it in the restaurants to be disappointed. Other restaurants overdue the spices, don't cook it right and then load the tip with chewed fruits that harvest the cultivation and make it soggy. I'm not sure what made me try it here, but I did. Rusty The **** puts the bar up. That was perfect. The domestic pommes were the freshest, tenderly cooked potatoes with the perfect spice. There was only enough scratch without making this crispy. Everything we ordered was perfect. Really delicious. I found my new favorite breakfast place. Can wait to come back and try their lunch options.
