Split Rock Resort - Lake Harmony

We went to the indoor waterpark for our daughters birthday got day passes . I have never seen anything like it . It is SO COLD in the waterpark that even the lifeguards have pants sweatshirts on . The water is FREEZING . They do not clean at all , there’s so much grime build up . You are literally swimming in filth. Not a scent of chlorine which makes me wonder . Avoid at all costs .. it was disgustingly dirty cold !

Rooms 6111C y 6112D. Worst resort ive stayed in. Dirty, super dirty, unbelievable. Every issue imaginable, from our entire stay, to only 1 water slide open on water park, filthy, and BED BUGS. The walls outside the hotel and around the balcony doors are eaten by termites and are already about to fall. Roo8m not clean, toilette was so bad, hot water constantly running out, very bad smelling. The entire hotel was old. It was very bad-smelling in the whole hotel. The carpet was black from the years of dirt on it. The room was not clean, the toilet was so bad, and water was constantly running out in the bathroom sink. The kitchen sink was disgusting to look at. The walls are disgusting and all scratched. The furniture in the living room was black after years of being used by everyone. The furniture, lamps, and decorations were too old. The locks on all the doors were black, apparently having never been cleaned. The place was infested with bugs. Bed bugs, spiders and spider web everywhere inside the room, and other type of insects everywhere, plus a corner full of eggs from some animal who knows what animal. We scratched ourselves all night from the disgust we felt in our bodies. I don't understand how the owner can have these facilities open, knowing their conditions. Everything was wrong, I couldn't find anything in its favor. It's disgusting!!! I don't recommend it to anyone. Here are some pics of some insects and the HUNDREDS OF EGGS that will soon hatch. Rooms: DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nearby activities: Nothing to do nearby. Safety: The hotel in falling apart. Eating by termites. Walkability: You definitely need a car. Can't go anywhere walking. Be aware of the deers they are everywhere. Food drinks: The worst food for breakfast a la carte I ever got. Noteworthy details: Absolutely nothing good to say.

We have been visiting this establishment for five years, but our recent experience was the worst ever. The building has a mildew odor, and the carpets are stained and filthy. The oven in our room was inoperable, and we found dirty dishes in the cabinets. Additionally, the coffee pot broke while I was using it. There were even ladybugs in the bedroom, and a water main issue left us with unpalatable water that we couldn’t use for bathing or washing dishes. Both telephones in our room were nonfunctional, preventing us from contacting the front desk directly. The next morning, they addressed some of the issues, which allowed us to stay. However, that night the water main broke again, and we still couldn’t bathe. Now, four days after our stay, I have yet to receive a response from the manager, Kimberly. The rooms are outdated, lacking proper amenities, and some have a ladybug infestation.
