Gino's East Of Lake Geneva

Was looking forward to a good Chicago deep dish pizza but I did not get it at Gino's sorry to say. So let me start with its Friday after 5pm we walk in and no other customers in yet, the hostess went to seat us and I asked for a window seat and she said NO! I was taken a back by this but I did not argue. 3mins later a guy came in and he was seated at the Window! About 3 minutes after that 2 girls came in and were seated at the Window! That right there frosted my Christmas cookies if you know what I mean. We ordered to drinks and a spinach and mozzarella sticks appetizer which were good, next we ordered 2 small deep dish pizzas our waitress who was good with us told us they take about 40 mins and we said that's fine. About 25mins later our pizzas came my wife had a veggie deep dish (not able to substitute olives for no tomatoes kind of cheap as the small pizza was over 30.00) and I had Gino's Supreme. My pizza was not hot it was not cooked long enough the veggies were small (1/4 inch in size) diced and very little in the meat dept. also for the 30.00 they should have done a much better job with quality. In hind sight a poor choice for pizza. Poor hostess good waitress way to expensive. Over 130.00 dollars for that, sorry never again.

Waitress was very good and helpful. All in all a good experience.

Deep dish not as deep as I remember in the past... also, cornmeal for crust? I 'm just not used to that type of dough being used like the classic dough that has been used forever

Great pizza. Our server was very kind and attentive. The view of the lake from the window was beautiful

Aside from VERY expensive.... The food is good, the staff is fabulous. I have allergies, and they were super cautious! Even chased me down to verify an ingredient they missed. Absolutely fabulous service.
