The Honeybaked Ham Co. - Lake Forest

Our baked ham is so disappointing and a total failure. When we open it, there is no glaze. This is the second year in a row. We always hope for a good, but I think to give up his time and get only one Costco ham and then do the work of glazing. Honey baked ham is no longer worth it!

Unbelievably fast Thanksgiving spread. The line was out the door and down the street. But well worth the 40 minute wait to save hours of kitchen time. Their food is always great especially for non-homemade. It looks good. Smells delish. And oh sooo yummy. They do an exceptional job in making any novice look like they got up at 5AM worked every burner on the stove and the broiler, just for you. Singles when it?s your turn, turn to HoneyBaked. Of course it does help if you hit the grocery store and pick up some fresh fruit and a pickle or cheese dish. And don?t forget an extra pillow for the couch. No football game is better than a good food coma.

The ham was great even reheated several times, used in Cordon Bleu, with eggs and in bean soup. It didn't get dry and the flavor stayed delicious. I would probably always use the delivery in the future as I don't really live that close to Oakland. I guess my only request would be for more sides, the rolls or whatever other options you might think people would like to go along. TV ads hooked me.

Sandwich had fresh bread and was well-constructed. Flavor was great. Staff were friendly and greeted me as I entered the store. Haven't been there during the high volume time (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter)

I've been a fan of this establishment since I first tasted their ham back in North Carolina 20+ yrs ago. But this particular location left me with a sour taste in my mouth. They failed to have my ham prepared for me when I went to pick it up. This shouldn't have happened since I went through the trouble of reserving it on their website a week beforehand. So I purchased one of their turkeys instead being that they were out of hams. How does that happen, they sell hams as their main product? I hate to say it but the turkey was way below par with how it tasted and the preparation. I was also over charged for the turkey which I didn't find out until I mentioned what I paid to a friend who quickly started I was over charged. After comparing the price on their site to what I was charged at the location did I know that I paid $15 and some change over.
