Bidra med feedbackWe attempted to inform the staff about the situation, but they dismissed our concerns, insisting that the meat was fine. When we requested to speak with the manager, the employees continued to ignore us. We tried calling the restaurant for the manager's name, but the staff was uncooperative again. Attempting to reach out to the company only led to recordings and voicemails, with no option to speak to an actual person. I ultimately decided to visit the restaurant in person after work to address the issue directly with the manager. When I confronted him about his staff’s disrespectful behavior, he brushed it off, saying they were busy. When I mentioned my background in customer service management and that such behavior was unacceptable, he laughed in my face. It's clear that both the staff and the manager have no regard for their customers and seem indifferent to serving safe food. I will not be returning, not only due to the poor quality of the food and the rude service but also because of the incredibly careless attitude of the manager.
This restaurant is quite nice, and the staff is extremely friendly. My only issue was finding a parking spot, as there's an Enterprise Rent-A-Car next door. There was also a bit of a wait during lunch hour—totally on me for not planning better. Just a heads up: online ordering isn't very effective without a full staff. That said, the sandwiches are tasty, but I recommend arriving early to avoid the rush!
I ordered sandwiches online and paid for them, but when my sister went to pick them up, they claimed they couldn’t find the order. I double-checked my credit card statement and confirmed that the payment went through. I am absolutely certain I was at the correct location—there’s no other Mr. Pickles for about 300 miles! I asked to speak with the manager and requested that she check the credit card payments, but she dismissed me, laughing, even though I never mentioned the amount. She suggested I cancel the order online, but when I asked her how to do that, she admitted she didn’t know. My sister ended up having to reorder and pay for the sandwiches again, and then they messed up the order. I was on the phone with her the whole time, so I know she ordered it correctly. This place is a complete joke. If you decide to order online, be prepared for the same treatment I experienced.
Mr. Pickle knows how to make a good sandwich. They ordered several times a week for lunch breaks, and they were great every time. Would recommend her Italian, Tom Turkey and Cali Tuna with one side of Dirty Chips (very important!). Apparently this is a chain that is usually based in NorCal, with only one for the totality of SoCal. I'd be happy with more Mr. Pickles down here!
I've never been unhappy with a sandwich from here. Their weird specialty ones are great and they do a great job with the basics. Their Italian could use a bit more attention on the meats used but still tastes good.
