This place wow!! Driving on I-10 cross country, breakfast time, my favorite and I'm getting hungry! Google Diners in the area, we're Diner people, and this little gem came up!! A short detour off 10, but Well Worth it! Seriously, one of the best breakfast we've had! Fresh, very good country cooking with Excellent coffee! Timely, efficient and a great waitress and staff, I asked her name but forgot..sorry just a fantastic experience! Give credit where credit is due

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. If you are looking for some good old fashioned home cooking, this is the place in Lake City to go. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner (most days). The servers are experienced and do their jobs very well. I almost always order their fried green tomatoes when I get a chance, and very much enjoy their all you can eat shrimp special. Visit, enjoy and eat well! They'll get to know you as you get to know them. Takeout is also available. Don't be shy!

Good home cooking. I had the fried chicken and it was juicy not dry like at other restaurants. My boyfriend had the fried pork chops and he was very impressed, said they were juicy too not dry at all. Their hamburgers are hand pattied so they can me cooked to specific taste. A restaurant we will definitely be coming back too.

We stumbled upon this cozy haven quite accidentally. While road weary and starved, Jim (a local) greeted us and invited us for a sit down at his table and soon others joined as well. Colleen was our server. Super sweet and hard working. Everyone was great. The food was so delicious. And the homemade cake .... To die for! If you aren't sure what you want, just ask. Lol. Anything recommended will be sure to please and satisfy! This is our new go to anytime and EVERYTIME we are near.
