Climb Elevated Eatery - Lake City

I went to this restaurant with my friends and we were lucky to secure the last reservation after trying for three days straight. The shishito peppers with beef tips were incredibly delicious. The portions of pasta were generous but definitely worth it. The Filet Mignon was also amazing. The owner was charming, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a fantastic dinner and this meal will definitely be one of the most memorable we've had, despite having dined all over the world. The food deserves a perfect score of 5.

It's just so nice to have an occasion restaurant in such a remote little town. Climb isn't kitschy or pandering but also doesn't take itself too seriously. It strikes a great balance of class that makes it appropriate for a birthday dinner or date night and approachability that suits the casual, outdoorsy residents and visitors to Lake City. The service hits those same notes feeling white-napkin thoughtful and intentional while remaining warm and easy-going. Plus, the food is great! I highly recommend The Peak Experience which is a curated plate of their greatest hits. The filet is tender and flavorsome, the fettuccine is rich with the earthy tang of real parmesan cheese and the seasonal veggies round out the dish. To finish, if you're lucky enough to visit when they have the carrot cake available, do not miss it. It's so well spiced with toasty pecans and a fluffy cream cheese frosting. Can't beat it.
