Maui Princess Dinner Cruise - Lahaina

The ship featured in the advertisement is not the one you actually board. The vessel you sail on is quite old and not very clean. The food served is cold, which is what I expected on a boat, but it's decent enough. Once the sun sets, visibility is poor, and you're left stuck on the boat for another hour or so without much to see.

We chose this restaurant based on the numerous positive reviews, as we had previously enjoyed a wonderful dinner cruise in Kauai. While the staff was friendly, both the meal and the ambiance were significantly below average. The seats were hard plastic, the tables were covered with paper, and we were served drinks in plastic cups. The ship itself was dirty, and the sound system was poor. The meal consisted of a Costco-style salad and dinner rolls, paired with a piece of low-quality prime rib that clearly had been prepared off-site before we set sail. The musical entertainment was disappointing and out of tune, especially when compared to many of the better acts at local bars. On a positive note, the staff was pleasant, but overall, it did not justify the cost.

What a wonderful experience! We're so glad we booked this dinner cruise. It was the best, and we look forward to doing it again next year.

We enjoyed the dinner with friends. Also the whale siting was an unexpected bonus. Very convenient to where we stayed on Maui.
