Bidra med feedbackHad the worst experience couple of months ago. We are regular cutomers. Ordered a simple pizza to pick up. Was told 25 minutes. Went there 40 minutes later. 75 minutes into the order our order was not ready. Girl in reception was rude, when I asked to cancell the order, guy from the back came and threw $40 on the desk saying they did not have time to to a refund on my credit card!!! Plenty of Italian restaurants around, that serve better food, don't bother with this one.
Clam and linguine pasta was okay. Definitely better in comparison to the clam and linguine at other nearby restaurants, but still not my favorite.
Food good service good. A you need to know! Heather did an excellent job to take care of the 20 of us.
My wife and I have eaten there twice in the past 4 to 5 weeks, and both times I have been very disappointed with my food and service. On the first occasion there were screaming kids in the large center table having a birthday party so we sat out on the patio. You would have thought we had the plague because it was next to impossible to get service out there. My wife ordered the clam linguini which she liked. I ordered the lasagna, and when it was served, the sauce was steaming hot but the inside of the lasagna was cool, It obviously sat in the cold refrigerator too long and they did not heat it up enough in the oven. Our second dinner very recently, again my wife ordered the clam linguini which was fine. I told the server we wanted to order a large pizza and asked her the difference between their two styles (fancy Italian names), and she informed me that one was thin crust and the other thick crust. We deduced to get the thick crust, so I ordered a large sausage and mushroom thick crust pizza. When it arrived, it was served on a large round pizza tray, but was a smaller rectangle shaped pizza cut in 8 square pieces. I asked the server if this was a large pizza and she said that the thick crust pizza only comes in one size! She said nothing about that when I ordered a large thick crust pizza! Worst, you could hardly find the sausage on the pizza. They apparently took an Italian sausage and sliced it very thin probably on a mandolin, and the slices were paper thin. They were scattered over the pizza but you could hardly taste them at all. Sauce was the only think you could taste. Very disappointed! I rated them 2 stars because my wife liked the clam linguini, but the rest of the meal was a total bust. We will not be going back there again.
We're going to miss Fratellos since it has been our go-to spot for many years. However, we're grateful that Brooklyn City Pizzeria just opened next to Taco Bell, and it's the best pizza we've tasted in South Orange County!
