Bidra med feedbackComing back from holiday in Calabria we drew up here lured by a bright neon sign. It was dark and we drove through a large rough and ready carpark full of lorries good indicator! The restaurant looks like a converted circus tent, with a central fireplace which, being summer was decorated with baskets of vegetables. Pretty check table cloths, folded napkins and colourful ceramic jugs. I had home made papardelle e ceci a delicious, thick, home made flat pasta which is traditionally served with a chick pea soup. Grated cheese and a pot of hot chilli pepper steeped in oil were brought to the table and both were added to the dish. Wholesome and very generous portion. We also ordered grilled cheese and fried potatoes but, be warned, it was too much on a hot summer's night! We were given containers to take what we couldn't manage home! Pity because there was also cake!!! Shall return possibly in winter and even stay in the agriturismo (family run farmstead). Very surprised to find such a place en route but the proverbial lorry driver's choice holds true! Highly recommended and by the way very clean.

Quite and lovely place, nice terrace surrounded by mountains. Easy to reach from the highway. Amazing food and service.
A must for those like me from Sicily travels up... it's not the first time I eat here, now after years it has grown up. is located at the exit of the highway, strategic position and very comfortable. Foods of excellent quality, a little too crowded now. excellent the goat, a little hard meat in the grill. All right!
We stopped by chance, because of passage. simple place, but nice and traditional. we slept in some kind of cottage and ate pizza in the next restaurant. All very good. definitely recommended.
