Dax On Verot - Lafayette

The food was pretty good. The shrimp and onion rings were fried well. Poboys were disappointing because they used a hoagie type bread instead of French bread.

Very disappointed. Ordered take out for lunch. Got two wraps,,chicken and grilled shrimp. When we opened them up, thought they came off the children’s menu. $19 for two tiny wraps, no drink, no chips or fires.... skimped on both chicken and tiny shrimp. Mainly all flour tortilla. Won’t be back. Give people what they pay for guys.

Spent almost 40 dollars one my order got my chicken sandwich bread was soggy a few sprinkles of lettuce no condiments which they were on the side but my chicken I got a half of a chicken breast the onions rings were extremely soggy no crunch to much grease I at as much as I could without throwing up definitely not worth what I paid hopefully my next order will be better

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time, as it's just around the corner from my clinic. Today, on a dark, rainy Monday, I finally stopped in and was delighted by the delicious food that really brightened my day! For lunch, I ordered the chicken stew, and it was amazing! Rich and flavorful, with a generous portion that truly filled me up. At under $10 for the stew, two sides, and a roll, it was an excellent value! I can't wait to explore more of their menu. Do yourself a favor and visit Dax on Verot!

I anticipated it would be busy given all the fantastic reviews I’d heard, both online and in person. Although they intended to close early, I’m so grateful they chose to serve us. My group ordered fried pickles, the Dax BBQ burger, a brisket po’ boy, and a crab burger, all of which came with fries. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere on the veranda was delightful. Plus, they are dog-friendly, which is a huge bonus. I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say about our experience. Everyone enjoyed the food and the overall vibe of the restaurant. Thank you for staying open for us! We will definitely be back or will order to go.
