Bidra med feedbackI visited Chez Francois today to order a pound of medium spiced boiled shrimp and I am extremely disappointed. I paid $16.99 per pound for large shrimp, but only received about 10 pieces, and what I got made me feel unwell. The shrimp tasted like they had just been dipped in hot water without any seasoning. Additionally, the young cashier was unfriendly and kept me waiting for 30 minutes. I mention this to emphasize that if you don't respect your customers enough to greet them with a smile or ensure their food is prepared correctly, you shouldn't be in business. We need to stop supporting establishments that do not appreciate their customers. I will never return.
I recently bought some boiled crawfish from Chez Francois Seafood, and they were so salty that I couldn't eat them. I called to complain, but after being put on hold for 20 minutes, they hung up on me. I tried calling back three more times, and during my last call, I finally spoke to the manager (or whoever she is). I explained that the crawfish was too salty, but she insisted they don't use salt in the boiling process. There's no way that's true because I had to stop eating them. I won't be returning for service again!
The customer service is terrible! As a first-time customer, I wasn't informed about how they accept EBT, and the staff was quite rude. The woman I encountered didn't speak any English either. If you're running a business, it's important to do better! I didn't even bother trying the food; I just wanted to leave that unpleasant-smelling place. To make matters worse, a rat ran past my foot while I was waiting for my order!
I purchased packages of their frozen crawfish tail meat, but it had an overwhelming fishy odor and a strong ammonia smell. After reading other reviews, I recommend staying far away from this place; it could make someone ill!
We managed to brush off her attitude and I ended up spending about $50, while other customers were spending as much as $400. Little did they know, the crawfish were awful. They were not just a bit too salty; they were excessively over-salted. The spice level was overwhelming — my fiancé even tried rinsing them off for me, but it was still unbearable. I genuinely don't think anyone could enjoy them, especially families with children. I considered calling the restaurant to voice my concerns, but I didn’t think it would make a difference. The staff was so rude; they seemed annoyed to have customers asking questions while placing orders. I really don't understand how this place is still in business. As a side note, I even tried to give a crawfish to my dog, but he ran away from it!
