Bidra med feedbackI really like this place! It's for her choice of beer, her food, the bar, the ambience, the people... the list in endless. I was here in large groups and small and I always felt very welcome. People are very nice. I'm coming to dinner, I always enjoyed her food. The salmon, chicken, pizza, burgers and salads. I've never had anything important about the quality of food. I once had a small complaint with the salmon, and it was immediately visited what was very professional. I felt the steak could be better presented than it is. Overall, I love this place. I enjoyed all kinds of Pale Ales in their Brewhouse. Never tried the cocktails or anything else. Must try.
I always enjoy this place. The menu is quite large, so there is something for everyone and their pizza is quite good if you like tough style thin crust pizza.
Expected not much, but was pleasantly surprised. Food is very taste-oriented, nothing unique or imagination, simple and American theme restaurant that on my visit executed all foods exceptionally good. The food was hot and perfectly fried. The salmon was delicious, the chicken was crunchy, the maize potatoes fresh. Everything was right, we had no complaints. The beverage menu and menu was huge!!!! It was a little difficult to decide! All just a pleasant experience. My expectation is that in time the kitchen will suffer and the food will be like Applebee's. But until then I will enjoy this place.
Eating is really good. Had Brussel shoots found her phenomenal. Great atmosphere and very diverse menu with plenty to choose from many different ingredients.
Nice place with lots of promise. As a beer fiend, I 'm going to say their selection is well thought out and very balanced and that includes their own brews. Too often I see places with dozens of taps only to have nearly all the same style, color, and flavor on each one. Kudos to whomever is in charge of the beer selection. I 've been there about 7 times or so since it opened. My experience with service is hit and miss. Certainly, I 've always had good table service. But out of 4 trips to the bar, only once did I have decent service. One time came close to okay. The other two were horrid. I haven 't seen those particular bartenders again, so perhaps they 've been weeded out of the initial hiring pool by now. I 'm sure as they find their footing, BJ 's will improve overall in the service department. But we folks don 't go out to eat for beer and service. We want great food. You can certainly find some here. Both the rib appetizer (made with a rootbeer based glaze and the entrée (made with a beer based sauce are both excellent. The cherry glazed salmon over cous cous is also delicious. (though I had ordered the quinoa bowl, whatever The Ahi Poke salad is pretty good, and a very refreshing and light appetizer that you won 't fill up on. Skip the burgers. Terrible and flavorless patties. What a shame. Their fries are worse. The only redeeming quality is that they are thin and crispy. But since they refuse to season them AT ALL, you 'll definitely need some ketchup to be able to put them down. I just don 't understand people who don 't season food. I mean, I 'm not asking for you to burn my mouth out with salt or pepper, but something other than BLAND would be nice. The tavern pizza (italian market was too 'tangy. ' But as with any pizza, it was much better cold for lunch the next day. (I think the tang came from the fact that the pepperoni is diced AND they have pickled pepperoncini as an ingredient The ribeye was horrible. Not worth the price. Drowned in black pepper. (really, from a flavorless burger that you make yourself everyday to a steak ruined by drowning it in black pepper—consistency people, consistency Also, you 'll need to order it two degrees less than what you want. They apparently cook it to temp, but they forget that a steak keeps cooking after it is removed from the heat. Medium rare quickly turned to medium well half-way through eating it. A thicker cut might help out here. Mine was a bit thin at 1/2inch. But by far, their best dish is the North Beach Mahi Shrimp. It 's like a tavern version of a courtbouillon. The fish and shrimp are lightly poached in a thin tomato broth and served over cous cous. The flavor is excellent. (see you guys DO know how to cook and season properly. Now why can 't you do that with a burger and fries? or that $25+ steak? All in all, I 'm sure I 'll be back to try other items on their absurdly large menu. (which might be part of their problem Worth a visit if not for the beer and ribs alone. Also, they make their own root beer, cream soda, and cherry soda. If I can make myself avoid an adult brew, I 'll try one of these next.
