Gilligan's Seafood -summerville

Nice place and great staff but the Gilligan's Stew wasn't quite what it used to be. Very bland, no corn. Needed some Old Bay! Tabasco helps! LOTS of potatoes though! Great staff!

The food is great. Our waitress was a doll. She was very attentive. It was later than we meant to go but they didn't make us feel rushed or an inconvenience at all. Definitely recommend!

Had a wonderful spur of the moment date with my wife. Right of Ladson Rd. and was nicer than we remembered. We were in the mood for seafood and we enjoyed our lunch. Laurie, our server was prompt and very courteous. Our food came quickly and hot. And my drink was never less than half full. We will return again.

I was concerned about coming here due to the reviews, but I wanted shrimp and grits before we left the area. Unfortunately we dug in before the pictures were taken. Hush puppies (complimentary) were sweet and savory. The fried green tomatoes were fried perfectly with a great crunch! I was very happy with the cheesy grits and shrimp, cooked perfectly. My husband didn't care for the fish and chips, but only because he's used to a thicker white fish. All food came out nice and hot. The service was good and the manager took time to stop at our table to make sure everything was ok. Will return! The prices were fair too.

Prompt service, delicious seafood, and a clean dining room. I even bought a t-shirt. Highly recommend to family and friends.
