Bidra med feedbackDo stop here! The cakes and pies are over the top; like nothing else in South Sound! I recommend the banana cream pie. The chocolate hazelnut is so sweet I had to eat it in four servings; needs to be dialed back! Give inch round use are $3.75 each, cake sliced about the same. Great coffee and teas are served up by a very friendly staff. I was told the business has been operating here since 2014. This is a nice cozey place for a treat. Free used books too. If you found this to be helpful, how about a thumbs-up?
We try to stop by this place everytime we're in town. They have a good selection of pastries, cakes and cookies. I am particularly fond of their caramel apple tart. Just had the chocolate stout cake and it was very light and moist and not overly sweet for that you can go to Safeway. The snickerdoodle was authentic and not just a sugar cookie in disguise. The staff is friendly and patient as there are many choices to consider.
Great price for cakes and small pies. Aim to please the community such as a free slice of cake for your old books. Store itself is nice and clean and that farmhouse/cafe feel. I wish they just had ready made cake without the 72hr lead time. Over all my experience is good experience. Definitely will come back again.
Wonderful pastry and pies. To bad they have no almond flour, paleo, keto or other options- like some of the other local bakeries. The 1 piece of cake for books event is awesome!
We went with a group to The Back Door Bakery. It was our first time and we will definitely be back! It has a cute, cozy atmosphere and the desserts are amazing! The staff did a great job and remained kind and courteous while helping what seemed like a never-ending line of customers. Keep up the fabulous work!
