La Battigia - LACCO AMENO

Possibly the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is terrible and the service is nearly non existent. We sat outdoors and the place reeked of cigar smoke from neighboring tables. The staff were so slow and rude it was really difficult to order. The food took forever to arrive and when it did it was awful. There were aspects of this place not even worth describing. Truly a restaurant from hell. If you are looking for a culinary experience Ischia is definitely the wrong place and this restaurant is the worst of the worst.

Mauro is a master at making fine bruschetta! Everything is good and prices are reasonable the staff is wonderful! Try it you’ll like it Back again post pandemic and this place is even better now than it as four years ago! AND Mauro still makes the best bruschetta you will ever eat! One of my favorite places in Lacco Ameno

A great dinner at the ristorante la battigia- arrived Saturday evening without reservation and they sat us immediately. I was nervous with a heavy milk allergy - but our server (which we believe the owner daughter) spoke fantastic English and assured me that my selected items were safe. we ordered bruschetta, two pasta dishes, roasted vegetables and a bottle of wine. all were incredibly fresh and delicious. she even offered us limoncello at the end of our meal. she was so friendly and welcoming, highly recommend this restaurant!
