Bidra med feedbackGreat food, great wine and friendly staff. This was really a experience to remember Be prepared for a home made gourmet 7 course meal (also lunch) at a very reasonable price (40€ person). A very charming place.
They do not tell you, but this is a set course menu at set, undisclosed prices. You will pay 40 50 euros per person (they do not disclose prices) EVEN IF as in our case you go there for a quick, light meal, Facts: we were four, had two appetizers, three pasta dishes, and the bill was .... 210 euros. They told us we did not eat second dish (in Italy, meat) and dessert and coffee, but ... we had to pay for it anyways. We felt robbed. We told them they were expensive, and they started shouting openly, in the restaurant, how embarassing. How rude. Italy at its worst. I discourage anyone to go there.
We were told this will be authentic Italian dining, it was a set menu. They squeezed us in at 8 PM, when we arrived we were the first. In Italy, everyone eats dinner after 8 PM. Not wanting to be fashionable early, we waited until more diners arrived. When we were seated we recognized our waiter from the tasting, he was the son of the winery owner. The meal consisted of seven courses starting with the family’s chardonnay and a bottle of still water. An appetizer plate consisting of proccuttio and fried flowers. We then had fresh beef Tartar. We then had a spinach and mushroom soufflé with a béarnaise sauce. Wow!, very rich. Then a marinated trout in wine, olive oil, lemon juice, capers and herd that was out of this world. Next we were served pasta; we had pesto risotto as well as spaghetti with chipped beef. Finally they served the entrée of roasted pheasant or sliced pork covered in an onion sauce. We had a small portion of each. Man were we full. Then came desert, I had a cup of cappuccino and Kirsten had a ri ch chocolate desert, common to the area. Our dinner started at 8 PM we didn’t leave 11:30 PM
Excellent dinner, high quality and friendly service. exceptional truffle phenolic, great rice to mushrooms and tajarin to ragù. super the wild boar, so soft that it dissolved in the mouth. homemade desserts up to the height. absolutely recommended
I was there Saturday at lunch, we are proposed a different menu from the one on the site with the explanation that every time varies according to the availability of the seasons. However all good portions only to arrive at the end of lunch and the value for very good money. friendly and helpful owners and staff.
