Taste Of The Bayou - La Jolla

First time in La Jolla and in California and just decide to sit down while walking down Girard and eat. Best decision ever! Food was so good you guys. You won’t go wrong with place. Definitely give it shot.

We visited a small restaurant at La Jolla Bay, and I must say the food was excellent. We ordered the chicken cadhi, vegetarian navratan kourma, garlic naan, and mango lassi, and everything tasted great. The server was friendly, and the service was prompt.

Delicious Indian cuisine! We ordered the chicken korma at spice level 3, and it was absolutely delightful! The garlic naan and vegetable samosas were incredibly fresh! We can't wait to return!

Every dish is expertly prepared to order! Dining at Taste of the Himalayas was a delightful and unique experience! The owner, Savant, and his partner, Melissa, were exceptional, working closely together to ensure every guest had a phenomenal culinary experience during my visit. Although the staff was limited, the quality of the food makes it a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Himalayan and vegan cuisine. I was enveloped by the enticing aromas of Himalayan and Tibetan spices, and the warm, homely atmosphere immediately put me at ease. The restaurant's exterior has a charming, organic family business vibe. The personal attention given to each diner was truly impressive, as Savant and Melissa, along with a dedicated team of chefs, efficiently managed takeout and online orders while still being attentive to the needs of both indoor and outdoor guests. I will definitely return if I'm ever in La Jolla!
