Las Fuentes Mexican - La Grange

Service and location are great and always clean. ordered traditional lunch plate, which came with rinderfajitas and bark meat enchilada, rice and beans. fajitas were good. the cheese used on the enchilada is something that is not delicious (velveta tasting). they should use a better cheese like longhorn cheddar. the flour-tortillas were far understated. the chips, salsa and queso were satisfactory.

The resaurant seems to be a local hotspot for Mexican foods. the parking lot was full with parking in front for order to go. it is always nice to go into a restaurant and be greeted by a friendly face. except we were greeted by a not so friendly hostess. she didn't smile or looked like she wanted to be there. independent of this, we led to sitting places that were standing against another table sitting with people who wanted to hang us against each other. we rejected the seats and asked for another table. we were moved, but with a certain resistance, as if this would lead to a great disturbance of their seating order. I ordered bark ribs, which were somewhat cooked, but the rice and the beans were tasteful. the flourtortillas were made home. our waiter was pleasant and fulfilled our wish. the price for our individual meals was a bit expensive, but they are generous in the portions. I would try this place again just to see if another disk selection could change my opinion about the review at this first visit.

To go home to the Aransas Pass of dallas, stayed here to have dinner. teller were huge, waiters were much respectful. coctel d camaron had alot of garnelen, they were not stingy on the salsas, chips, cracker, etc. cheese in camarones a la diabla made me swap my plate w/hubby. Girls had chicken wings, said they were really good?

Never disappointed! eating is hot and fresh and server are attentive. super fast eating to the table. try the Jumbo-Margarita when they drive when they don't get their giant margarita! so good. we try to stop each time we get through the city. free chip red and green salsa and queso.

Found this place traveling from Katy to Austin. The food was really tasty. The staff is friendly and took great care of us. We are looking forward to being there again soon! :
