New York Richies - La Grande

Sandwich. Probably the Ony place on the dry side of the state that knows what a good philly sandwich is. Consistent quality food and great service.

Good food. We enjoy New York Richie's variety of hot and cold sandwiches and New York style pizza. The Philly cheesesteak and pastrami sandwiches are very good. You can buy pizza by the slice here. If you are a vegetarian, they have eggplant parmesan sandwiches too.

Very good. Almost as good as NY Pizza. Found on urban spoon bu had to call because address is wrong. It is located in Island City which is next to La Grande. Fantastic salad

Wow! Saw the advertisement on a billboard as we headed home from vacation, and yes, it was well worth the stop. Delicious Philly steak and most fabulous pastrami sandwiches ever! Truly, probably the best we've ever experienced. Service was quick and friendly, hot sauce for fries was yum. Though home is two plus hours away, we'll totally be back for more! Go Richies!

A happy customer. I have to admit we tried this place out of curiosity more than anything else. Giant billboards advertising New York Style pizza tend to get my attention. We got a cheese and a pepperoni on our way to Wallowa Lake, and the pies are certainly NY style. Arguably, the flavors are less authentic (like getting a cheesesteak anywhere but Philly), but still VERY good. We liked them so much we stopped again on our way back home!
