7 16 - La Dorada

It was my third and last time to eat here. The starter came very fast, but the main course took forever to come. We were no longer hungry. I mean, if you have your starter and get your main course 40 minutes later, although the... place wasn't busy at all!

Nice place for lunch or dinner. This is a very demanding restaurant. The place is very much spaced among the tables and they offer a wide selection of dishes. I was looking for a lamb frame and found a very good potato. My friend asked about a salmon and it was also very tasteful. I strongly recommend this place.

A couple of days ago were there Celebrating my wife's birthday.. Pro's great place, great menu, great atmosphere, great music. Cons.. The waiters not much polite, too much time for our plates, for the price we paid for the meal, the portions were very poor,...everything have a price, including the water.. Anyway it was good, lot of expensive for my taste..

The place is beautiful. It is a very good restaurant to order a lot of dishes and share and the meat was amazing

It's an upmarket venue, nice design and such. I ordered a steak and a glass of wine, which is priced very expensively, even by European terms. The wine was the residue of the bottle, and was obviously not enough to fill a full glass, but...the waiter intended to leave it at that. After we made a comment, he fetched a new bottle and filled up the glass. The quality of the meat (and the fries) was excellent, but the preparation was wrong. Medium appeared to be quite well done. After sending back the meat to the kitchen, a new steak came back but was now rare, so back again. After a long wait, the meat came back as medium, and it was very nice, but the side dish had disappeared from the plate. Our meal had been interrupted twice, and with all the waiting time, I had finished the one glass of wine I was going to have at the very expensive minimum price charged, before I could eat my steak, but not a word of apology the whole time by the staff. In the end, the manager apologized and offered a free coffee, which was appreciated. It is an expensive venue, and the basic quality of the meat was good, but was disappointing for us.
