Very well, I vs. advise to go, ns it was to eat delicious crepes, made with natural ingredients we have feasted, the accuei is warm what does not cake anything!!
Had walked around La Couvertoirade and was looking for a lite bite. Some of the busier restaurants seemed to major on full meals so the Montes crepes seemed to fit the bill. Didn’t fancy sitting in the narrow alleyway so went inside. What a surprise and so unique. It’s like sitting in a cellar. Low ceiling, massive supporting pillars, walls covered in odd things and the opportunity to watch your food being prepared. We had two ham cheese crepes and a couple of drinks and left €20. There is a certain amount of competition in the village but being out in the middle of nowhere makes you a captive audience so this was fairly price I thought. I think we were served by the owners one of whom made our two crepes as we watched. This is time consuming, particularly if you are having savoury crepes so I’m not surprised that some report a long wait. However the food was worth waiting for. Strongly recommend.
