Bidra med feedbackService was excellent. Alonso was our server and was great, but so was everyone we met. Horchata met the place and the Chile Verde had some beautiful spices. Unfortunately, the Enchiladas had an old sauce, so she was disappointed. We have to come back and try again.
Previously, to go to this restaurant or more Casa De Bandini than both still in the old town of San Diego. Eating here is still pretty good and fill. Do not really get the same atmosphere in La Mesa as you in the old town, although they really try to revise it. Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurant options in San Diego.
I work next to Casa De Pico and I looked at all the reviews and thought I would try. I have the two Carne asada enchiladas and was a little disappointed. The meat was fat and super hard to chew. The Enchilada sauce was a bit too bitter for me. I also got a dessert and I was a little excited to try the lava cake. I was underwhelmed again. The cake was cold and no lava. The cake was dry and the ice made it hardly soft enough to eat. I don't think I'll try her again while I'm in town.
One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in San Diego! Great atmosphere and always a good time! Hard to beat handmade tortillas and margaritas that pack a blow! Some of the best Carnitas!
It was Amazing food. Had a Mariachi band and huge plates of food and a kids menu too. They do offer alcoholic drinks as well and Pepsi products and tea. When you go in the front there is someone making homemade flour tortillas.
