Came here for an amazing 5-speed (plus delicious tea at the end! Don't miss eating experience. Each of the five cocktails is unique, special and professional. Comes with a delicious food pairing, so it is really satisfying for a small group of not more than 4 people at a time. Very intimate, relaxing, it allows you to appreciate the seasonal ingredients and flavors that he absorbs inspiration and distills into these amazing drinks. We'll come back here next time to see what he's got next. 10/10 would highly recommend this.
Really a special unforgettable experience. We heard from a friend of this place and wanted to try ourselves. The cocktails and pairings surpassed our expectations and we were blown away in innovation and aromas. The owner/bartender was so friendly, explained everything in detail and was so gracious to us. He describes the ingredients and processes for every cocktail. You can say he's passionate about his work. The vibes are superior, enhanced by the music selection and a mixture of modern/antic decor. I recommend having a reservation and an open mind! You'll have a great time.
We made the 5 course plus tea ceremony menu. Speechless, one of the most crazy experiences of our lives. No words need, just try! Tomoiki is a GENIUS!
My evening at nokishita711 was a real treat of a discovery and one of my favorite experiences on my recent trip to Japan. Upon entering this small, intimate bar, I was greeted by an eclectic mix of decor that created a relaxing yet stimulating ambience. Like the “liquid cuisine,” the entire place oozed creativity. As for the cuisine, each cocktail and food pairing was created from intriguing ingredients—meats, seafood, fruits, plants, and various types of liquor (both made in-house and by distilleries). I had the omakase, with 5 main courses, and also ordered one more cocktail afterward. Drinking the cocktails was a deeply meditative experience—each one had layers of flavor and complexity. It was easy to see the care and time that went into preparing the beverages as well as their food pairings. Tomoike-san gave me a thorough explanation of each course and was happy to answer my many questions about his process, sourcing, decorating style, and interests in liquors. As other reviewers have mentioned, please make sure you’re aware of what you are getting into before booking. This is not a traditional bar. If you come in with respect and an open mind, I think this will be an experience to remember.
