Hartford House - Kwazulu-natal

I have been to the restaurant here a few times and enjoyed the a la carte menu. So this time I thought let me try the set menu. Hartford house is beautiful with amazing service. The flowers, the finishings, the gardens- all top notch. Back to the food, it is well presented. The portions are on the small side, but the taste makes up for it. Thank you In a world gone mad its so refreshing to find a hotelier who did everything possible to create an exceptional experience and spectacular hotel. We were completely blown away by our experience, by the magnificent interior decor and design, the friendly staff and the wonderful food. What a memorable weekend away! We were greeted by who gave a lovely tour of the beautiful historic venue. We arrived early and they were attentively waiting for us. The place is lovely with beautiful manicured gardens and beautiful greens stretches for lovely countryside walks. We took one everyday we were there. The staff (from Simo to Nathi, Zama, Thobelani and the team) were so welcoming, hospitable and generous. All of our needs were met and our expectations were greatly exceeded. Sous Chef … – show

After maneuvers to avoid pot holes on the road leading to the hotel it just got better and better.Room was huge bathroom super.Warm and cosy.Staff helpful and friendly. Only grouse was the overpriced wine but that's everywhere now.
