Great food and great service. The long-running lamb was great. They gave me more hunger.

The restaurant may be small and narrow, but it gives off a cozy, homey vibe. The dishes may not be fancy, but they are generously filled with hearty portions of meat, potatoes, and seasonal vegetables that are a staple of Balkan cuisine. The servings are satisfyingly large and fulfilling. The service is straightforward and efficient, lacking unnecessary pleasantries but not impolite. This is Balkan cuisine at its finest.

The best restaurant in Kuopio. Good food and service. Special mention of haloum-French (best female memory) and a wide range of excellent dips. We lived with a spouse in Helsinki and returned to Kuopio to get to Boka. Definitely recommended for 6/5.

The first amazing highlight of the meal was the 2-person meat plate with a variety of delicious dipping sauces. I highly recommend Nam and will definitely be returning.
