Bidra med feedbackWhat do you want me to say? it was hard to compare again for my life of eating burger. from homemade to high, new york to seattle, I never had a better burger, then the dry old angus trio burger in the chef bar. we happened to this little place. only enough space to sit 11-15 people, chef roland prepares everything even with care. burger, fleischpis, fresh chips, steaks and craft beers, everything impresses nothing. they'll make one like and eat them here when they have the opportunity.
In our last night of our Thailand trip we wanted something else, good from Thai food! chef bar is in the heart of the city of bangkok, but it is small. very small. Why is this important to note because I was shocked. all reviews were so great, I had expected that this huge institution....NOPE! it is a tiny business (think food truck size) with only 3 tables and one bar. You see how your food is made, you talk to the cook. it is very intimate and personal. he tells them the specials because there is no place to write them because the menu board is full. the burger was perfectly cooked. are they ready for some new aromes but! they are not regular burgers. my burger had blue cheese cream frittata and pulled pork and then my burger! I didn't think it would taste good, but I had learned on this trip to try new things....and it was great. during dinner we have with the chef and owner as well as a regular talk. it was exactly what we needed to close our journey!
